The short version
SnoreTrack records the sound in your room while you sleep and tells you how much of it was snoring. It is not a medical device and cannot diagnose anything.
Use it on your own phone, in your own room. Pro is a monthly subscription through Google Play and you can cancel it there at any time.
1. Agreement
By installing or using SnoreTrack you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What SnoreTrack is
SnoreTrack is a sound-measuring app. It listens through your phone's microphone during a session you start, measures loudness, applies rules to decide what sounds like snoring, and saves short clips of the loudest moments.
Its figures are estimates produced from sound alone. Microphone quality, phone placement, room noise, fans, air conditioning, pets and other people in the room all affect them.
3. Not medical advice
This matters more than anything else on this page.
SnoreTrack is not a medical device. It does not detect, diagnose, treat or monitor sleep apnoea, any breathing disorder, or any other condition. Its "breathing" figures describe gaps between sounds, not breaths.
Nothing in the app, including any written summary, is medical advice. Do not use it to decide whether to seek treatment, and do not use it in place of seeing a doctor. If you are concerned about your breathing during sleep, consult a qualified professional.
4. Recording other people
SnoreTrack records audio in the room. You are responsible for making sure that is lawful where you are and that anyone else who may be recorded knows about it and agrees. Laws on recording differ by country and it is your responsibility to follow the ones that apply to you.
5. Your account
Signing in is optional. If you do sign in, keep your Google account secure; anything done through your account is your responsibility. You may delete your account from within the app at any time.
6. Acceptable use
Do not reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, attempt to bypass its limits or its payment, use it to record anyone without their knowledge, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
7. SnoreTrack Pro
Pro unlocks additional features for a recurring subscription fee. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Google Play, renew automatically, and can be cancelled at any time through your Google Play account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policy. Prices may change, and any change will be notified before it takes effect.
8. Availability
Features that need the internet — signing in, purchases, and written summaries — depend on services we do not control and may be unavailable at times. Written summaries may be switched off entirely if the quality of what they produce is not good enough; the app then writes its own summaries, as it does by default.
The app is provided as it is, without any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, or accurate for your particular circumstances.
9. Your data
Your recordings and figures are stored on your device. What leaves the device, and when, is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Keeping your own copies is your responsibility. Uninstalling the app deletes its data from your phone and it cannot be recovered afterwards.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SnoreTrack is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, for lost recordings or data, or for any decision made on the basis of what the app shows you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Changes and ending
These terms may change; the date at the top will change with them, and continuing to use the app means accepting the new version. You may stop using SnoreTrack at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access to the online features if these terms are broken.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
